No matter how good they are. The message is green for the rich. This review is from: ECOVER Natural Automatic Dishwasher 125 Tablets 5.5 lb or 88oz Dishwashing Chlorine Phosphate free (Kitchen) I've tried them all, Cascade, Finish, various store brands, and all of them leave a white, smokey film on glasses and dishware. I don't pre-wash my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, I do rinse off the big bits, but they go in dirty like they're meant to. If we were required to hand wash them before putting them in, what is the point of an automatic dishwasher. The above brands never cleaned everything off, they'd leave greasy bits behind. But not Ecover dishwasher tablets; they clean the dishes to a spotless sheen, there is no smokey residue left on clear glassware, and they're better for the environment in the long run as they're phosphorus free.
